As your "phone-support-doula" we would start with two prenatal visits, which ideally are done in person, but if we are not in the same area, then we meet over skype.  We will discuss your hopes for your birth, your birth partner's role, your birth plan, the physiology of labor, and some coping techniques that are most helpful to many women. Then, you are free to call me any time during your pregnancy with questions or to talk things out or even run through things you are planning on talking to your doctor or midwife about, before going to your next appointment.  You and/or your birth partner can call me any time, day or night, during labor for input, comfort tips and advice, whatever! Same goes for postpartum and breastfeeding - it is an inclusive package. The cost is $395.
